ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ ತ್ವತ್ಪದೋಪಾಸನಮಭಯತಮಂ ಬದ್ಧಮಿಥ್ಯಾರ್ಥದೃಷ್ಟೇ-
ರ್ಮರ್ತ್ಯಸ್ಯಾರ್ತಸ್ಯ ಮನ್ಯೇ ವ್ಯಪಸರತಿ ಭಯಂ ಯೇನ ಸರ್ವಾತ್ಮನೈವ ।
ಯತ್ತಾವತ್ ತ್ವತ್ಪ್ರಣೀತಾನಿಹ ಭಜನವಿಧೀನಾಸ್ಥಿತೋ ಮೋಹಮಾರ್ಗೇ
ಧಾವನ್ನಪ್ಯಾವೃತಾಕ್ಷಃ ಸ್ಖಲತಿ ನ ಕುಹಚಿದ್ದೇವದೇವಾಖಿಲಾತ್ಮನ್ ॥1॥
Meaning
ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ - O Lord Krishna!; ತ್ವತ್-ಪದ-ಉಪಾಸನಮ್- - Thy feets worship; ಅಭಯತಮಮ್ - most fearless; ಬದ್ಧ-ಮಿಥ್ಯಾ-ಅರ್ಥ-ದೃಷ್ಟೇಃ- - (for those) bound by false material things looking for; ಮರ್ತ್ಯಸ್ಯ-ಆರ್ತಸ್ಯ ಮನ್ಯೇ - the mortals, who are thus suffering, I believe; ವ್ಯಪಸರತಿ ಭಯಂ - expels fear; ಯೇನ ಸರ್ವಾತ್ಮನಾ-ಏವ - by which in every way only; ಯತ್-ತಾವತ್ - that (devotion) then; ತ್ವತ್-ಪ್ರಣೀತಾನ್-ಇಹ - by Thy taught, here (in this world); ಭಜನ-ವಿಧೀನ್-ಆಸ್ಥಿತಃ - in the methods of worship steady; ಮೋಹ-ಮಾರ್ಗೇ ಧಾವನ್- - (even if) on the path of delusion, running,; ಅಪಿ-ಆವೃತ-ಆಕ್ಷಃ - even (with) eyes closed; ಸ್ಖಲತಿ ನ ಕುಹಚಿತ್- - slips not at all; ದೇವ-ದೇವ-ಅಖಿಲಾತ್ಮನ್ - O Lord of Lords! O Soul of All Beings!;
Translation
O Lord Krishna! I believe that the worship of Thy feet is the most fear expelling and the only refuge for those mortals who are suffering because of being deeply bound by the false material notions and wrong acceptance of ephemeral values as true. By devotion to Thee all fear is expelled, in every way, the methods of which are taught by Thee (in Bhagvad Geeta etc.). O Lord of Lords! O Soul of all Beings! A person who is steady in Thy devotion will not slip or falter even a wee bit even if he runs on the path of delusion with his eyes closed.

ಭೂಮನ್ ಕಾಯೇನ ವಾಚಾ ಮುಹುರಪಿ ಮನಸಾ ತ್ವದ್ಬಲಪ್ರೇರಿತಾತ್ಮಾ
ಯದ್ಯತ್ ಕುರ್ವೇ ಸಮಸ್ತಂ ತದಿಹ ಪರತರೇ ತ್ವಯ್ಯಸಾವರ್ಪಯಾಮಿ ।
ಜಾತ್ಯಾಪೀಹ ಶ್ವಪಾಕಸ್ತ್ವಯಿ ನಿಹಿತಮನಃಕರ್ಮವಾಗಿನ್ದ್ರಿಯಾರ್ಥ-
ಪ್ರಾಣೋ ವಿಶ್ವಂ ಪುನೀತೇ ನ ತು ವಿಮುಖಮನಾಸ್ತ್ವತ್ಪದಾದ್ವಿಪ್ರವರ್ಯಃ ॥2॥
Meaning
ಭೂಮನ್ - O Supreme Being!; ಕಾಯೇನ ವಾಚಾ - by body and speech; ಮುಹುಃ-ಅಪಿ ಮನಸಾ - again also by mind; ತ್ವತ್-ಬಲ-ಪ್ರೇರಿತ-ಆತ್ಮಾ - with Thy power prompted my soul; ಯತ್-ಯತ್ ಕುರ್ವೇ - what what( it)does; ಸಮಸ್ತಂ ತತ್-ಇಹ - all that, here; ಪರತರೇ ತ್ವಯಿ- - O All Pervading Being! To Thee; ಅಸೌ-ಅರ್ಪಯಾಮಿ - this (me) offers (at Thy service); ಜಾತ್ಯಾ-ಅಪಿ-ಇಹ ಶ್ವಪಾಕಃ- - by caste even, if here, (in this world) one is lowly; ತ್ವಯಿ ನಿಹಿತ-ಮನಃ-ಕರ್ಮ- - in Thee (has) resigned his mind, actions; ವಾಕ್-ಇನ್ದ್ರಿಯಾರ್ಥ-ಪ್ರಾಣಃ - speech senses and vital energies; ವಿಶ್ವಂ ಪುನೀತೇ ನ ತು - (he) sanctifies the worlds, not indeed; ವಿಮುಖ-ಮನಾಃ- - indifferent minded; ತ್ವತ್-ಪದಾತ್-ವಿಪ್ರವರ್ಯಃ - from Thy feet, even a great Braahmin;
Translation
O Supreme Being! All the actions of my body speech and mind which are prompted by Thy power, I offer and dedicate to Thee, the Supreme Spirit who are here in the form of Lord Guruvaayur. A person may be of lowly caste, but if he has resigned his mind speech senses and vital energies at Thy feet, he sanctifies the worlds. It is not so even if a person is a Braahmin and is indifferent minded towards Thee.

ಭೀತಿರ್ನಾಮ ದ್ವಿತೀಯಾದ್ಭವತಿ ನನು ಮನಃಕಲ್ಪಿತಂ ಚ ದ್ವಿತೀಯಂ
ತೇನೈಕ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸಶೀಲೋ ಹೃದಯಮಿಹ ಯಥಾಶಕ್ತಿ ಬುದ್ಧ್ಯಾ ನಿರುನ್ಧ್ಯಾಮ್ ।
ಮಾಯಾವಿದ್ಧೇ ತು ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಪುನರಪಿ ನ ತಥಾ ಭಾತಿ ಮಾಯಾಧಿನಾಥಂ
ತಂ ತ್ವಾಂ ಭಕ್ತ್ಯಾ ಮಹತ್ಯಾ ಸತತಮನುಭಜನೀಶ ಭೀತಿಂ ವಿಜಹ್ಯಾಮ್ ॥3॥
Meaning
ಭೀತಿಃ-ನಾಮ - fear indeed; ದ್ವಿತೀಯಾತ್-ಭವತಿ ನನು - from a second (entity) arises definitely; ಮನಃ- ಕಲ್ಪಿತಂ ಚ ದ್ವಿತೀಯಂ - and mind's projection is this second; ತೇನ-ಐಕ್ಯ-ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ-ಶೀಲಃ - therefore, on oneness practicing; ಹೃದಯಮ್-ಇಹ ಯಥಾ-ಶಕ್ತಿ - my mind here, with effort; ಬುದ್ಧ್ಯಾ ನಿರುನ್ಧ್ಯಾಮ್ - and intelligence will control; ಮಾಯಾ-ವಿದ್ಧೇ ತು - by Maaya's infliction indeed; ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಪುನಃ-ಅಪಿ - in the intellect again also; ನ ತಥಾ ಭಾತಿ - does not shine (as before); ಮಾಯಾ-ಅಧಿನಾಥಂ ತಂ ತ್ವಾಮ್ - Maaya's Master, therefore, Thee; ಭಕ್ತ್ಯಾ ಮಹತ್ಯಾ - with great Bhakti; ಸತತಮ್-ಅನುಭಜನ್-ಈಶ - constantly worshipping O Lord!; ಭೀತಿಂ ವಿಜಹ್ಯಾಮ್ - fear (I) will overcome;
Translation
The feeling of fear arises from the consciousness of a second entity-different from oneself. This consciousness of a second entity is a projection of the mind. I will try to control my mind with effort and discriminative intelligence. But when this discriminative intelligence is overpowered and inflicted by Maaya, the consciousness of oneness does not reveal itself again. Therefore, O Lord! by constantly worshipping Thee with great Bhakti, I will overcome all fear.
ಶ್ಲೋಕಃ
ಭಕ್ತೇರುತ್ಪತ್ತಿವೃದ್ಧೀ ತವ ಚರಣಜುಷಾಂ ಸಙ್ಗಮೇನೈವ ಪುಂಸಾ-
ಮಾಸಾದ್ಯೇ ಪುಣ್ಯಭಾಜಾಂ ಶ್ರಿಯ ಇವ ಜಗತಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಾಂ ಸಙ್ಗಮೇನ ।
ತತ್ಸಙ್ಗೋ ದೇವ ಭೂಯಾನ್ಮಮ ಖಲು ಸತತಂ ತನ್ಮುಖಾದುನ್ಮಿಷದ್ಭಿ-
ಸ್ತ್ವನ್ಮಾಹಾತ್ಮ್ಯಪ್ರಕಾರೈರ್ಭವತಿ ಚ ಸುದೃಢಾ ಭಕ್ತಿರುದ್ಧೂತಪಾಪಾ ॥4॥
Meaning
ಭಕ್ತೇಃ-ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿ-ವೃದ್ಧೀ - Bhakti's generation and growth; ತವ ಚರಣ-ಜುಷಾಂ - Thy feet worshipping (people); ಸಙ್ಗಮೇನ-ಏವ-ಪುಂಸಾಮ್- - in association alone with such people; ಆಸಾದ್ಯೇ ಪುಣ್ಯ-ಭಾಜಾಂ - is possible (to attain) for people with meritorious deeds; ಶ್ರಿಯ ಇವ ಜಗತಿ - wealth, just as, in this world; ಶ್ರೀಮತಾಂ ಸಙ್ಗಮೇನ - is (attainable) with wealthy people's association; ತತ್-ಸಙ್ಗಃ ದೇವ - that type of association, O Lord!; ಭೂಯಾತ್-ಮಮ - may it come to me; ಖಲು ಸತತಂ - indeed always; ತತ್-ಮುಖಾತ್-ಉನ್ಮಿಷದ್ಭಿಃ- - from this mouth's coming out; ತ್ವತ್-ಮಾಹಾತ್ಮ್ಯ-ಪ್ರಕಾರೈಃ- - Thy glories when narrated; ಭವತಿ ಚ ಸುದೃಢಾ - it (devotion) becomes more firm; ಭಕ್ತಿಃ-ಉದ್ಧೂತ-ಪಾಪಾ - Bhakti which effaces all sins;
Translation
Bhakti, devotion, is generated in people with meritorious deeds and it grows by association with people who are always worshipping at Thy feet. Just as in this world, wealth and prosperity are generated by association with prosperous people. O Lord! May I always have such association, because intense and firm devotion, which effaces all sins, arises as a result of listening to Thy glories and narrations of Thy sportive activities which are sung by such devotees.
ಶ್ಲೋಕಃ
ಶ್ರೇಯೋಮಾರ್ಗೇಷು ಭಕ್ತಾವಧಿಕಬಹುಮತಿರ್ಜನ್ಮಕರ್ಮಾಣಿ ಭೂಯೋ
ಗಾಯನ್ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಣಿ ನಾಮಾನ್ಯಪಿ ತದುಭಯತಃ ಪ್ರದ್ರುತಂ ಪ್ರದ್ರುತಾತ್ಮಾ ।
ಉದ್ಯದ್ಧಾಸಃ ಕದಾಚಿತ್ ಕುಹಚಿದಪಿ ರುದನ್ ಕ್ವಾಪಿ ಗರ್ಜನ್ ಪ್ರಗಾಯ-
ನ್ನುನ್ಮಾದೀವ ಪ್ರನೃತ್ಯನ್ನಯಿ ಕುರು ಕರುಣಾಂ ಲೋಕಬಾಹ್ಯಶ್ಚರೇಯಮ್ ॥5॥
Meaning
ಶ್ರೇಯಃ-ಮಾರ್ಗೇಷು - among the many paths of Moksha; ಭಕ್ತೌ-ಅಧಿಕ-ಬಹುಮತಿಃ- - in devotion there is much preference; ಜನ್ಮ-ಕರ್ಮಾಣಿ ಭೂಯಃ - (Thy) birth and Thy deeds, again and again; ಗಾಯನ್ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಣಿ ನಾಮಾನಿ-ಅಪಿ - singing, and Thy blessings conferring names also; ತತ್-ಉಭಯತಃ - by these both; ಪ್ರದ್ರುತಂ ಪ್ರದ್ರುತಾತ್ಮಾ - speedily (my) mind melting (in devotion); ಉದ್ಯತ್-ಹಾಸಃ ಕದಾಚಿತ್ - springing into laughter suddenly; ಕುಹಚಿತ್-ಅಪಿ ರುದನ್ - sometimes even crying; ಕ್ವಾಪಿ ಗರ್ಜನ್ - at times also roaring; ಪ್ರಗಾಯನ್-ಉನ್ಮಾದೀ-ಇವ - and singing around as a mad man,; ಪ್ರನೃತ್ಯನ್- - and dancing about; ಅಯಿ ಕುರು ಕರುಣಾಂ - O Thou! Bestow Thy compassion; ಲೋಕ-ಬಾಹ್ಯಃ-ಚರೇಯಮ್ - (so that) I may move out of the world;
Translation
Among the many paths of liberation, the path of devotion is the most preferred. Treading this path I shall fervently sing Thy glories and Thy deeds in Thy various incarnations, and also chant Thy grace conferring names. I may burst into laughter or cry suddenly, or at times roar or sing and dance about like a mad man. O Thou! bestow Thy compassion so that going on the path of Bhakti I may move about at will and not have to follow the world and its social norms.
ಶ್ಲೋಕಃ
ಭೂತಾನ್ಯೇತಾನಿ ಭೂತಾತ್ಮಕಮಪಿ ಸಕಲಂ ಪಕ್ಷಿಮತ್ಸ್ಯಾನ್ ಮೃಗಾದೀನ್
ಮರ್ತ್ಯಾನ್ ಮಿತ್ರಾಣಿ ಶತ್ರೂನಪಿ ಯಮಿತಮತಿಸ್ತ್ವನ್ಮಯಾನ್ಯಾನಮಾನಿ ।
ತ್ವತ್ಸೇವಾಯಾಂ ಹಿ ಸಿದ್ಧ್ಯೇನ್ಮಮ ತವ ಕೃಪಯಾ ಭಕ್ತಿದಾರ್ಢ್ಯಂ ವಿರಾಗ-
ಸ್ತ್ವತ್ತತ್ತ್ವಸ್ಯಾವಬೋಧೋಽಪಿ ಚ ಭುವನಪತೇ ಯತ್ನಭೇದಂ ವಿನೈವ ॥6॥
Meaning
ಭೂತಾನಿ-ಏತಾನಿ - the( five) elements, these; ಭೂತಾತ್ಮಕಮ್-ಅಪಿ ಸಕಲಂ - everything comprising of these five elements also; ಪಕ್ಷಿ-ಮತ್ಸ್ಯಾನ್ - birds, fishes; ಮೃಗಾದೀನ್ ಮರ್ತ್ಯಾನ್ - animals etc., and mortals; ಮಿತ್ರಾಣಿ ಶತ್ರೂನ್-ಅಪಿ - friends and enemies also; ಯಮಿತ-ಮತಿಃ- - with a balanced mind; ತ್ವತ್-ಮಯಾನಿ-ಆನಮಾನಿ - (knowing to be ) Thy forms, saluting; ತ್ವತ್-ಸೇವಾಯಾಂ ಹಿ - in Thy service (worship) only; ಸಿದ್ಧ್ಯೇತ್-ಮಮ - will be achieved by me; ತವ ಕೃಪಯಾ - with Thy grace; ಭಕ್ತಿ-ದಾರ್ಢ್ಯಂ - in devotion firmness; ವಿರಾಗಃ-ತ್ವತ್-ತತ್ತ್ವಸ್ಯ- - dispassion, and Thy true nature's; ಅವಬೋಧಃ-ಅಪಿ - knowledge also; ಚ ಭುವನಪತೇ - and O Lord of the Universe!; ಯತ್ನಭೇದಂ ವಿನಾ-ಏವ - without separate effort for each;
Translation
I shall salute the five elements, everything comprising of the elements, fishes, birds, animals and other mortals, friends and enemies with the knowledge that they are all Thy forms alone. Thus with my mind balanced with Bhakti I will always be in Thy service and worship Thee. With Thy grace then I will achieve firm devotion, dispassion and the knowledge of the Truth in Reality, simultaneously and will not have to make an effort to achieve each one separately. (Just as swallowing a morsel of food gives the satisfaction of enjoyment, strength and appeasing of hunger).

ನೋ ಮುಹ್ಯನ್ ಕ್ಷುತ್ತೃಡಾದ್ಯೈರ್ಭವಸರಣಿಭವೈಸ್ತ್ವನ್ನಿಲೀನಾಶಯತ್ವಾ-
ಚ್ಚಿನ್ತಾಸಾತತ್ಯಶಾಲೀ ನಿಮಿಷಲವಮಪಿ ತ್ವತ್ಪದಾದಪ್ರಕಮ್ಪಃ ।
ಇಷ್ಟಾನಿಷ್ಟೇಷು ತುಷ್ಟಿವ್ಯಸನವಿರಹಿತೋ ಮಾಯಿಕತ್ವಾವಬೋಧಾ-
ಜ್ಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸ್ನಾಭಿಸ್ತ್ವನ್ನಖೇನ್ದೋರಧಿಕಶಿಶಿರಿತೇನಾತ್ಮನಾ ಸಞ್ಚರೇಯಮ್ ॥7॥
Meaning
ನೋ ಮುಹ್ಯನ್ - not misled; ಕ್ಷುತ್-ತೃಡಾ-ಆದ್ಯೈಃ- - by hunger thirst etc.,; ಭವ-ಸರಣಿ-ಭವೈಃ- - the universe's string of manifestations; ತ್ವತ್-ನಿಲೀನ-ಆಶಯತ್ವಾತ್- - (because of) in Thee engrossed my mind; ಚಿನ್ತಾ-ಸಾತತ್ಯಶಾಲೀ - ever meditating; ನಿಮಿಷಲವಮ್-ಅಪಿ - for a fraction of a second also; ತ್ವತ್-ಪದಾತ್-ಅಪ್ರಕಮ್ಪಃ - from Thy feet not deviating; ಇಷ್ಟ-ಅನಿಷ್ಟೇಷು - from good or bad; ತುಷ್ಟಿ-ವ್ಯಸನ-ವಿರಹಿತಃ - gratification and aversion indifferent; ಮಾಯಿಕತ್ವ-ಅವಬೋಧಾತ್ - (these are) effects of Maayaa, with this knowledge; ಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸ್ನಾಭಿಃ- - in the cool rays; ತ್ವತ್-ನಖ-ಇನ್ದೋಃ- - of Thy toe nail's moon's; ಅಧಿಕ-ಶಿಶಿರಿತೇನ- - very well cooled; ಆತ್ಮನಾ ಸಞ್ಚರೇಯಮ್ - mind, I shall move about;
Translation
The strings of sufferings created by the universe like hunger and thirst will not effect me because my mind will be engrossed in Thee. I shall constantly meditate on Thy feet, and will not deviate even for a fraction of a second from them. With the knowledge that good and bad and gratification and aversion are an effect of Maayaa I will be indifferent to them. I shall move about peacefully with my mind being cooled in the cool light of the moon of Thy toe-nails.

ಭೂತೇಷ್ವೇಷು ತ್ವದೈಕ್ಯಸ್ಮೃತಿಸಮಧಿಗತೌ ನಾಧಿಕಾರೋಽಧುನಾ ಚೇ-
ತ್ತ್ವತ್ಪ್ರೇಮ ತ್ವತ್ಕಮೈತ್ರೀ ಜಡಮತಿಷು ಕೃಪಾ ದ್ವಿಟ್ಸು ಭೂಯಾದುಪೇಕ್ಷಾ ।
ಅರ್ಚಾಯಾಂ ವಾ ಸಮರ್ಚಾಕುತುಕಮುರುತರಶ್ರದ್ಧಯಾ ವರ್ಧತಾಂ ಮೇ
ತ್ವತ್ಸಂಸೇವೀ ತಥಾಪಿ ದ್ರುತಮುಪಲಭತೇ ಭಕ್ತಲೋಕೋತ್ತಮತ್ವಮ್ ॥8॥
Meaning
ಭೂತೇಷು-ಏಷು ತ್ವತ್-ಐಕ್ಯ- - in all these beings, Thy oneness; ಸ್ಮೃತಿ-ಸಮಧಿಗತೌ - (this) memory in achieving; ನ-ಅಧಿಕಾರಃ-ಅಧುನಾ ಚೇತ್- - my right, if not, at present is there; ತ್ವತ್-ಪ್ರೇಮ ತ್ವತ್ಕ-ಮೈತ್ರೀ - for Thee love, for Thy people friendship; ಜಡಮತಿಷು ಕೃಪಾ - towards ignorant people kindness; ದ್ವಿಟ್ಸು ಭೂಯಾತ್-ಉಪೇಕ್ಷಾ - towards enemies may there be indifference; ಅರ್ಚಾಯಾಂ ವಾ - or towards Thy images; ಸಮರ್ಚಾ-ಕುತುಕಮ್-ಉರುತರ- - the eagerness to worship may greatly; ಶ್ರದ್ಧಯಾ ವರ್ಧತಾಂ ಮೇ - with faith increase in me; ತ್ವತ್-ಸಂಸೇವೀ ತಥಾಪಿ - Thy worshipper, in this manner also; ದ್ರುತಮ್-ಉಪಲಭತೇ - soon attains; ಭಕ್ತ-ಲೋಕ-ಉತ್ತಮತ್ವಮ್ - in the world of devotees high status;
Translation
It may be that I do not deserve now the experience of the knowledge of Thy oneness with all beings. May I have love for Thee and friendliness for Thy people, kindness for the ignorant, indifference towards the enemies. Or may I have the eagerness to worship Thy images with full faith. People who worship Thee in such a manner, also, without delay attain the highest pinnacle of divine love.

ಆವೃತ್ಯ ತ್ವತ್ಸ್ವರೂಪಂ ಕ್ಷಿತಿಜಲಮರುದಾದ್ಯಾತ್ಮನಾ ವಿಕ್ಷಿಪನ್ತೀ
ಜೀವಾನ್ ಭೂಯಿಷ್ಠಕರ್ಮಾವಲಿವಿವಶಗತೀನ್ ದುಃಖಜಾಲೇ ಕ್ಷಿಪನ್ತೀ ।
ತ್ವನ್ಮಾಯಾ ಮಾಭಿಭೂನ್ಮಾಮಯಿ ಭುವನಪತೇ ಕಲ್ಪತೇ ತತ್ಪ್ರಶಾನ್ತ್ಯೈ
ತ್ವತ್ಪಾದೇ ಭಕ್ತಿರೇವೇತ್ಯವದದಯಿ ವಿಭೋ ಸಿದ್ಧಯೋಗೀ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧಃ ॥9॥

ಆವೃತ್ಯ ತ್ವತ್-ಸ್ವರೂಪಂ - hiding Thy real nature; ಕ್ಷಿತಿ-ಜಲ-ಮರುತ್-ಆದಿ- - earth,water,air,etc.; ಆತ್ಮನಾ ವಿಕ್ಷಿಪನ್ತೀ - itself (in these forms) projecting; ಜೀವಾನ್ ಭೂಯಿಷ್ಠ-ಕರ್ಮಾವಲಿ- - on the embodied souls, their string of actions; ವಿವಶ-ಗತೀನ್ - helplessly, (their resulted) reactions; ದುಃಖ-ಜಾಲೇ ಕ್ಷಿಪನ್ತೀ - in the sufferings' net throwing; ತ್ವತ್-ಮಾಯಾ - Thy Maayaa; ಮಾ-ಅಭಿಭೂತ್-ಮಾಮ್- - may it not overpower me; ಅಯಿ ಭುವನಪತೇ - O Thou Lord of the Universe!; ಕಲ್ಪತೇ ತತ್-ಪ್ರಶಾನ್ತ್ಯೈ - is considered to overcome it; ತ್ವತ್-ಪಾದೇ ಭಕ್ತಿಃ-ಏವ- - in Thy feet devotion alone; ಇತಿ-ಅವದತ್- - thus said; ಅಯಿ ವಿಭೋ - O All Pervading Being!; ಸಿದ್ಧ-ಯೋಗೀ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧಃ - the enlightened Yogi named Prabuddha;
Translation
Thy Maayaa by projecting itself as earth water air and other elements conceals Thy real nature. More over, it throws the embodied souls helplessly into a network of worldly sufferings based on the reactions created by their good or bad actions. O Lord of Universe! May that Maayaa not overpower me. O All pervading Being! the enlightened Yogi Prabuddha has said that this Thy Maayaa can be overcome only by devotion at Thy feet.

ದುಃಖಾನ್ಯಾಲೋಕ್ಯ ಜನ್ತುಷ್ವಲಮುದಿತವಿವೇಕೋಽಹಮಾಚಾರ್ಯವರ್ಯಾ-
ಲ್ಲಬ್ಧ್ವಾ ತ್ವದ್ರೂಪತತ್ತ್ವಂ ಗುಣಚರಿತಕಥಾದ್ಯುದ್ಭವದ್ಭಕ್ತಿಭೂಮಾ ।
ಮಾಯಾಮೇನಾಂ ತರಿತ್ವಾ ಪರಮಸುಖಮಯೇ ತ್ವತ್ಪದೇ ಮೋದಿತಾಹೇ
ತಸ್ಯಾಯಂ ಪೂರ್ವರಙ್ಗಃ ಪವನಪುರಪತೇ ನಾಶಯಾಶೇಷರೋಗಾನ್ ॥10॥
Meaning
ದುಃಖಾನಿ-ಆಲೋಕ್ಯ ಜನ್ತುಷು- - sufferings seeing in all beings; ಅಲಮ್-ಉದಿತ-ವಿವೇಕಃ- - indeed obtaining discrimination; ಅಹಮ್-ಆಚಾರ್ಯವರ್ಯಾತ್- - I from the great spiritual master; ಲಬ್ಧ್ವಾ ತ್ವತ್-ರೂಪ-ತತ್ವಂ - receiving Thy nature's reality and (being instructed); ಗುಣ-ಚರಿತ-ಕಥಾ-ಆದಿ- - in Thy excellences glories and deeds; ಉದ್ಭವತ್-ಭಕ್ತಿ-ಭೂಮಾ - and with arising of devotion supreme; ಮಾಯಾಮ್-ಏನಾನ್-ತರಿತ್ವಾ - this Maayaa crossing over; ಪರಮ-ಸುಖಮಯೇ-ತ್ವತ್ಪದೇ - supreme bliss conferring, Thy feet; ಮೋದಿತಾಹೇ - may give me delight; ತಸ್ಯ-ಅಯಂ-ಪೂರ್ವಃ-ಅಙ್ಗಃ - (to achieve this) for it this is the first step; ಪವನಪುರಪತೇ - O Lord of Guruvaayur!; ನಾಶಯ-ಅಶೇಷ-ರೋಗಾನ್ - remove my numerous ailments;
Translation
As I have been able to see the miseries of the creatures, in this world, by obtaining an insight due to a discriminative mind, may I be blessed with the instructions from a great spiritual master. From his instructions, may I receive the knowledge of Thy real nature, by the narrations of Thy excellences, glories and deeds will arise supreme devotion, by which crossing over Maayaa, at Thy feet that supreme bliss will be conferred on me which will give me great delight. To achieve this, this is the first step. O Lord! of Guruvaayur! remove my numerous ailments.
