Meaning
𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌾𑌮𑍍-𑌏𑌕𑌦𑌾 - Thee, once,; 𑌗𑍁𑌰𑍁𑌮𑌰𑍁𑌤𑍍𑌪𑍁𑌰𑌨𑌾𑌥 - O Lord of Guruvaayur!; 𑌵𑍋𑌢𑍁𑌂 - to carry (Thee, who); 𑌗𑌾𑌢-𑌅𑌧𑌿𑌰𑍂𑌢-𑌗𑌰𑌿𑌮𑌾𑌣𑌮𑍍- - had very much increased in weight; 𑌅𑌪𑌾𑌰𑌯𑌂𑌤𑍀 𑌮𑌾𑌤𑌾 - not being able (to carry), Thy mother (Yashoda); 𑌨𑌿𑌧𑌾𑌯 𑌶𑌯𑌨𑍇 - placing (Thee) on the bed; 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌇𑌦𑌂 𑌬𑌤-𑌇𑌤𑌿 - what is it indeed thus; 𑌧𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌯𑌂𑌤𑍀 - thinking (of Thee); 𑌅𑌚𑍇𑌷𑍍𑌟𑌤 𑌗𑍃𑌹𑍇𑌷𑍁 - performed (her duties) in the house; 𑌨𑌿𑌵𑌿𑌷𑍍𑌟-𑌶𑌂𑌕𑌾 - overcome with doubt;

Translation
Once, O Lord of Guruvaayur! Thou who had very much increased in weight, Thy mother not being able to carry Thee, placed Thee on the bed. What indeed was the cause of this, thus overcome with misgivings, she kept busy carrying out her duties in the house. As she did so, she was constantly thinking of Thee and praying for Thy welfare.

Meaning
𑌤𑌾𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌵𑌿𑌦𑍂𑌰𑌮𑍍- - then at a distance; 𑌉𑌪𑌕𑌰𑍍𑌣𑌿𑌤-𑌘𑍋𑌰-𑌘𑍋𑌷- - was heard a terrific sound; 𑌵𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌜𑍃𑌂𑌭𑌿-𑌪𑌾𑌂𑌸𑍁𑌪𑌟𑌲𑍀- - (with the) rising and spreading of a thick dust; 𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌪𑍂𑌰𑌿𑌤-𑌆𑌶𑌃 - filling the quarters; 𑌵𑌾𑌤𑍍𑌯𑌾-𑌵𑌪𑍁𑌃-𑌸 - in the form of a whirl wind, he; 𑌕𑌿𑌲 𑌦𑍈𑌤𑍍𑌯𑌵𑌰𑌃- - indeed, the famous Asura; 𑌤𑍃𑌣𑌾𑌵𑌰𑍍𑌤-𑌆𑌖𑍍𑌯𑌃 - Trinaavarta by name; 𑌜𑌹𑌾𑌰 - carried away (Thee); 𑌜𑌨𑌮𑌾𑌨𑌸-𑌹𑌾𑌰𑌿𑌣𑌂 - of the peoples' mind carries away (the one who); 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌾𑌮𑍍 - Thee;

Translation
Then the well known Asura Trinaavarta, came disguised as a whirl wind. All the quarters were filled with thick dust and a terrific sound arose and spread all around by the impact of his arrival. He carried Thee away, who carries away the minds of people.

𑌉𑌦𑍍𑌦𑌾𑌮-𑌪𑌾𑌂𑌸𑍁- - intense dust (causing); 𑌤𑌿𑌮𑌿𑌰-𑌆𑌹𑌤- - darkness and so obstructing; 𑌦𑍃𑌷𑍍𑌟𑌿-𑌪𑌾𑌤𑍇 - the vision (when it was so); 𑌦𑍍𑌰𑌷𑍍𑌟𑍁𑌂 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌪𑌿- - to see anything at all; 𑌅𑌕𑍁𑌶𑌲𑍇 - unable; 𑌪𑌶𑍁𑌪𑌾𑌲-𑌲𑍋𑌕𑍇 - (when) the cowherds were; 𑌹𑌾 𑌬𑌾𑌲𑌕𑌸𑍍𑌯 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍- - O what has happened to the child; 𑌇𑌤𑌿 - thus (worrying); 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌉𑌪𑌾𑌂𑌤𑌮𑍍-𑌆𑌪𑍍𑌤𑌾 - near Thee approaching; 𑌮𑌾𑌤𑌾 𑌭𑌵𑌂𑌤𑌮𑍍- - Thy mother, Thee; 𑌅𑌵𑌿𑌲𑍋𑌕𑍍𑌯 - not seeing; 𑌭𑍃𑌶𑌂 𑌰𑍁𑌰𑍋𑌦 - loudly cried;

Translation
The immense dust caused intense darkness due to which the vision was obstructed. All the cowherds and everyone were unable to see anything. Thy mother was full of worry as to what had happened to Thee. She ran in distress towards Thee and not finding Thee at the spot, she began to wail and cry loudly.

𑌤𑌾𑌵𑌤𑍍 𑌸 𑌦𑌾𑌨𑌵𑌵𑌰𑌃- - then the great demon; 𑌅𑌪𑌿 𑌚 𑌦𑍀𑌨𑌮𑍂𑌰𑍍𑌤𑌿𑌃- - also and weakened by; 𑌭𑌾𑌵𑌤𑍍𑌕-𑌭𑌾𑌰-𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌧𑌾𑌰𑌣- - Thy weight (which he was) carrying; 𑌲𑍂𑌨-𑌵𑍇𑌗𑌃 - (because of which his) speed diminished; 𑌸𑌂𑌕𑍋𑌚𑌮𑍍-𑌆𑌪 - (and he) got shrunk; 𑌤𑌤𑍍-𑌅𑌨𑍁 - thereafter; 𑌕𑍍𑌷𑌤-𑌪𑌾𑌂𑌸𑍁-𑌘𑍋𑌷𑍇 - subsided the dust and the noise; 𑌘𑍋𑌷𑍇 𑌵𑍍𑌯𑌤𑌾𑌯𑌤 - in the cowherd village (Gokula) spread (was heard); 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌜𑌨𑌨𑍀-𑌨𑌿𑌨𑌾𑌦𑍍 - Thy mother's cries;

Translation
Then that great demon weakened in power, shrank in size and his speed was diminished because of carrying Thy weight. So the dust storm and the fierce whirling sound had also subsided, and so in the cowherd village Gokula, Thy mother's cries were clearly heard everywhere.

𑌰𑍋𑌦-𑌉𑌪𑌕𑌰𑍍𑌣𑌨-𑌵𑌶𑌾𑌤𑍍- - hearing the wailing and prompted by it; 𑌉𑌪𑌗𑌮𑍍𑌯 𑌗𑍇𑌹𑌂 - reaching the house; 𑌕𑍍𑌰𑌂𑌦𑌤𑍍𑌸𑍁 - crying; 𑌨𑌂𑌦-𑌮𑍁𑌖-𑌗𑍋𑌪𑌕𑍁𑌲𑍇𑌷𑍁 - (when) Nanda and other gopas and gopis; 𑌦𑍀𑌨𑌃 - weakened (the Asura); 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌾𑌂 𑌦𑌾𑌨𑌵𑌃-𑌤𑍁 - Thee, the Asura; 𑌅𑌖𑌿𑌲-𑌮𑍁𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌿𑌕𑌰𑌮𑍍 - (Thee) who releases all from bondage; 𑌮𑍁𑌮𑍁𑌕𑍍𑌷𑍁𑌃- - wanting to release; 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌯𑌿-𑌅𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌮𑍁𑌂𑌚𑌤𑌿 - (when) Thou did not let go Thy hold; 𑌪𑌪𑌾𑌤𑍍 - fell down; 𑌵𑌿𑌯𑌤𑍍-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌦𑍇𑌶𑌾𑌤𑍍 - from the skies;

Translation
On hearing the wailings of Yashoda, Nanda and the other gopas rushed inside the house crying. Meanwhile, the Asura who had become weak by carrying Thy weight, wanted to release Thee, who releases everyone's bondages. But when Thou did no let go of Thy hold of him, he fell down from the skies.

Translation
The gopas were exhausted by their crying and wailing. Then outside the house, they saw a huge and heavy body falling on the rock. What a wonder! On the chest of the dead body, they found Thee with a soft smile lying unscathed.

Translation
The wicked demon had died by falling on the rock and his huge body was smashed. Wearing a smile Thou played on that dead body beating about with Thy lotus like hands. The gopas picked Thee up from there as one would pick a blue gem from a big mountain.

One by one, Nanda and the other Gopaas with great joy took hold of Thee quickly and embraced and kissed Thy limbs.The Gopikaas were also desirous of taking Thee, but did not do so out of shyness. We praise Thee, who then, as a honey beetle jumped into their lotus like hands.

Meaning
𑌭𑍂𑌯𑌃-𑌅𑌪𑌿 - again and again; 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌨𑍁 𑌕𑍃𑌣𑍁𑌮𑌃 - what should we do'; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌣𑌤𑌾𑌰𑍍𑌤𑌿𑌹𑌾𑌰𑍀 - The redeemer of the devotees; 𑌗𑍋𑌵𑌿𑌂𑌦 𑌏𑌵 - Govinda only; 𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌪𑌾𑌲𑌯𑌤𑌾𑌤𑍍 - may protect; 𑌸𑍁𑌤𑌂 𑌨𑌃 - our son; 𑌇𑌤𑌿-𑌆𑌦𑌿 - thus etc.,; 𑌮𑌾𑌤𑌃-𑌪𑌿𑌤𑍃- - by mother father; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌮𑍁𑌖𑍈𑌃-𑌤𑌦𑌾𑌨𑍀𑌮𑍍 - and by others at that time; 𑌸𑌂𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌰𑍍𑌥𑌿𑌤𑌃- - prayed; 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌅𑌵𑌨𑌾𑌯 - (for) Thy protection; 𑌵𑌿𑌭𑍋 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌮𑍍-𑌏𑌵 - O Lord! To Thee only;

Translation
Thy mother and father and the others wondered as to what could they do for Thy protection. Again and again, at that time, they said that only Govinda could protect their son. O Lord! The redeemer of Devotees! So they prayed to Thee alone for Thy welfare.

Meaning
𑌵𑌾𑌤𑌾𑌤𑍍𑌮𑌕𑌂 𑌦𑌨𑍁𑌜𑌮𑍍- - in the form of wind, the Asura; 𑌏𑌵𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌯𑌿 - thus O Thou!; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌧𑍂𑌨𑍍𑌵𑌨𑍍 - having killed; 𑌵𑌾𑌤-𑌉𑌦𑍍𑌭𑌵𑌾𑌨𑍍 - arising from the winds; 𑌮𑌮 𑌗𑌦𑌾𑌨𑍍 - my ailments; 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍁 𑌨𑍋 𑌧𑍁𑌨𑍋𑌷𑌿 - why do you not kill (eradicate); 𑌕𑌿𑌂 𑌵𑌾 𑌕𑌰𑍋𑌮𑌿 - what else can I do; 𑌪𑍁𑌨𑌃-𑌅𑌪𑌿- - yet again; 𑌅𑌨𑌿𑌲𑌾𑌲𑌯𑍇𑌶 - O Lord of Guruvaayur!; 𑌨𑌿𑌶𑍍𑌶𑍇𑌷-𑌰𑍋𑌗-𑌶𑌮𑌨𑌂 - for the eradication of all my ailments (internal and external); 𑌮𑍁𑌹𑍁𑌃-𑌅𑌰𑍍𑌥𑌯𑍇 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌾𑌮𑍍 - (I) again and again beseech Thee;

Translation
Thus Thou killed the Asura who was in the form of the wind. Why do not Thou kill and remove my ailments which also arise from the wind. What else can I do? O Lord of Guruvaayur! I again and again beseech Thee for the eradication of all my internal and external ailments.
