Meaning
𑌕𑌦𑌾𑌪𑌿 𑌜𑌨𑍍𑌮-𑌋𑌕𑍍𑌷-𑌦𑌿𑌨𑍇 - once, on the birth star day; 𑌤𑌵 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌭𑍋 - of Thee, O Lord!; 𑌨𑌿𑌮𑌂𑌤𑍍𑌰𑌿𑌤- - having invited; 𑌜𑍍𑌞𑌾𑌤𑌿-𑌵𑌧𑍂-𑌮𑌹𑍀𑌸𑍁𑌰𑌾𑌃 - relatives, their wives and Braahmins; 𑌮𑌹𑌾-𑌅𑌨𑌸𑌃-𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌾𑌂 𑌸𑌵𑌿𑌧𑍇 - a big cart, Thee near it; 𑌨𑌿𑌧𑌾𑌯 𑌸𑌾 - placing, she (Yashodaa); 𑌮𑌹𑌾𑌨-𑌸𑌾𑌦𑍌 - in the kitchen; 𑌵𑌵𑍃𑌤𑍇 𑌵𑍍𑌰𑌜𑍇𑌶𑍍𑌵𑌰𑍀 - got busy Yashoda;

Translation
O Lord! Once on Thy birth star day, Yashoda, the queen of Vraja, who had invited the relatives and their wives and the Braahmins, for the occasion, placed Thee near a big cart and got busy in the kitchen organising the feast.

𑌤𑌤𑍋 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍𑌤𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌣𑌨𑌿𑌯𑍁𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌬𑌾𑌲𑌕𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌭𑍀𑌤𑌿𑌸𑌂𑌕𑍍𑌰𑌂𑌦𑌨𑌸𑌂𑌕𑍁𑌲𑌾𑌰𑌵𑍈𑌃 ।

Meaning
𑌤𑌤𑌃 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍- - then, for Thy; 𑌤𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌣-𑌨𑌿𑌯𑍁𑌕𑍍𑌤- - to protect appointed; 𑌬𑌾𑌲𑌕-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌭𑍀𑌤𑌿- - the boys; 𑌸𑌂𑌕𑍍𑌰𑌂𑌦𑌨- - fearfully crying; 𑌸𑌂𑌕𑍁𑌲𑌾-𑌰𑌵𑍈𑌃 - the confused voices; 𑌵𑌿𑌮𑌿𑌶𑍍𑌰𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌶𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌵𑌿 - which were mingled (with) , were heard; 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌸𑌮𑍀𑌪𑌤𑌃 - from near Thee; 𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌸𑍍𑌫𑍁𑌟𑌤𑍍-𑌦𑌾𑌰𑍁- - cracking and breaking of wood; 𑌚𑌟𑌤𑍍-𑌚𑌟𑌾-𑌰𑌵𑌃 - with the crackling sound;

Translation
Then from near Thee, was heard the fearful cries and confused voices of various boys who were appointed to protect Thee, which was mingled with the sound of the crackling and breaking sound of wood.

𑌤𑌤𑌸𑍍𑌤𑌦𑌾𑌕𑌰𑍍𑌣𑌨𑌸𑌂𑌭𑍍𑌰𑌮𑌶𑍍𑌰𑌮𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌕𑌂𑌪𑌿𑌵𑌕𑍍𑌷𑍋𑌜𑌭𑌰𑌾 𑌵𑍍𑌰𑌜𑌾𑌂𑌗𑌨𑌾𑌃 ।

𑌤𑌤𑌃-𑌤𑌤𑍍-𑌆𑌕𑌰𑍍𑌣𑌨- - then that hearing; 𑌸𑌂𑌭𑍍𑌰𑌮-𑌶𑍍𑌰𑌮- - (with) the fear and the effort; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌕𑌂𑌪𑌿-𑌵𑌕𑍍𑌷𑍋𑌜-𑌭𑌰𑌾𑌃 - heaving with the heavy breasts; 𑌵𑍍𑌰𑌜𑌾𑌂𑌗𑌨𑌾𑌃 - the Gopikas; 𑌭𑌵𑌂𑌤𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌂𑌤𑌃-𑌦𑌦𑍃𑌶𑍁𑌃- - Thee saw amongst; 𑌸𑌮𑌂𑌤𑌤𑌃 𑌵𑌿𑌨𑌿𑌷𑍍𑌪𑌤𑌤𑍍- - all around strewn; 𑌦𑌾𑌰𑍁𑌣-𑌦𑌾𑌰𑍁-𑌮𑌧𑍍𑌯𑌗𑌮𑍍 - big pieces of wood, in the midst lying;

Translation
Then hearing the terrific sound, frightened, the Gopikas came running with their heavy breasts heaving because of the effort and anxiety. They saw Thee lying amongst the frightful big pieces of broken wood strewn all around.

𑌶𑌿𑌶𑍋𑌰𑌹𑍋 𑌕𑌿𑌂 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑌭𑍂𑌦𑌿𑌤𑌿 𑌦𑍍𑌰𑍁𑌤𑌂 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌧𑌾𑌵𑍍𑌯 𑌨𑌂𑌦𑌃 𑌪𑌶𑍁𑌪𑌾𑌶𑍍𑌚 𑌭𑍂𑌸𑍁𑌰𑌾𑌃 ।

Meaning
𑌶𑌿𑌶𑍋𑌃-𑌅𑌹𑍋 - to the child, Alas!; 𑌕𑌿𑌂 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌭𑍂𑌤𑍍- - what! What has happened; 𑌇𑌤𑌿 𑌦𑍍𑌰𑍁𑌤𑌂 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌧𑌾𑌵𑍍𑌯 - thus (saying),swiftly running; 𑌨𑌂𑌦𑌃 𑌪𑌶𑍁𑌪𑌾𑌃-𑌚 - Nanda Gopa, the cowherds; 𑌭𑍂𑌸𑍁𑌰𑌾𑌃 𑌭𑌵𑌂𑌤𑌮𑍍-𑌆𑌲𑍋𑌕𑍍𑌯 - and the Braahmins, Thee seeing; 𑌯𑌶𑍋𑌦𑌯𑌾 𑌧𑍃𑌤𑌂 - (who was) by Yashoda held; 𑌸𑌮𑌾𑌶𑍍𑌵𑌸𑌨𑍍- - felt relieved; 𑌅𑌶𑍍𑌰𑍁-𑌜𑌲-𑌆𑌰𑍍𑌦𑍍𑌰-𑌲𑍋𑌚𑌨𑌾𑌃 - (with) eyes wet with tears (of joy);

Translation
Alas! What! What has happened to the child!' thus crying, Nanda, the Gopas and the assembled Braahmins rushed to the spot. Finding Thee in Yashoda's arms, they felt relieved and shed tears of joy seeing that the child was safe.

𑌕𑌃-𑌕𑌃 𑌨𑍁 𑌕𑍌𑌤𑌃-𑌕𑍁𑌤𑌃 - what! What, indeed how? Where? (did it happen); 𑌏𑌷 𑌵𑌿𑌸𑍍𑌮𑌯𑌃 𑌵𑌿𑌶𑌂𑌕𑌟𑌮𑍍 - this is a wonder, this huge; 𑌯𑌤𑍍-𑌶𑌕𑌟𑌂 𑌵𑌿𑌪𑌾𑌟𑌿𑌤𑌮𑍍 - that (this) cart is shattered to pieces; 𑌨 𑌕𑌾𑌰𑌣𑌮𑍍 - no reason; 𑌕𑌿𑌂𑌚𑌿𑌤𑍍-𑌇𑌹-𑌇𑌤𑌿 - at all is here, thus; 𑌤𑍇 𑌸𑍍𑌥𑌿𑌤𑌾𑌃 - they stood; 𑌸𑍍𑌵-𑌨𑌾𑌸𑌿𑌕𑌾-𑌦𑌤𑍍𑌤-𑌕𑌰𑌾𑌃- - on their noses placing their hands; 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌈𑌕𑍍𑌷𑌕𑌾𑌃 - at Thee looking;

What ! What happened and how! This is a wonder! This huge cart is shattered! There seems to be no explanation for this', thus exclaiming, they looked at Thee, awestricken, with their fingers placed on their noses.

𑌕𑍁𑌮𑌾𑌰𑌕𑌸𑍍𑌯-𑌅𑌸𑍍𑌯 - of this child; 𑌪𑌯𑍋𑌧𑌰-𑌅𑌰𑍍𑌥𑌿𑌨𑌃 - of being breast fed desirous; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌰𑍋𑌦𑌨𑍇 - while crying; 𑌲𑍋𑌲-𑌪𑌦-𑌅𑌂𑌬𑍁𑌜- - by the movement of the lotus like legs; 𑌆𑌹𑌤𑌮𑍍 - was hit (the cart); 𑌮𑌯𑌾 𑌮𑌯𑌾 𑌦𑍃𑌷𑍍𑌟𑌮𑍍- - I saw, I saw; 𑌅𑌨𑌃 𑌵𑌿𑌪𑌰𑍍𑌯𑌗𑌾𑌤𑍍- - the cart overturned; 𑌇𑌤𑌿-𑌈𑌶 - thus O Lord; 𑌤𑍇 𑌪𑌾𑌲𑌕-𑌬𑌾𑌲𑌕𑌾𑌃 - the children who were guarding Thee; 𑌜𑌗𑍁𑌃 - said;

Translation
O Lord! The children who were guarding Thee, declared 'This child who was desirous of being breast fed, moved his lotus like legs, and hit the cart which overturned. I saw, even I saw.'

𑌶𑍍𑌲𑍋𑌕𑌃
𑌭𑌿𑌯𑌾 𑌤𑌦𑌾 𑌕𑌿𑌂𑌚𑌿𑌦𑌜𑌾𑌨𑌤𑌾𑌮𑌿𑌦𑌂 𑌕𑍁𑌮𑌾𑌰𑌕𑌾𑌣𑌾𑌮𑌤𑌿𑌦𑍁𑌰𑍍𑌘𑌟𑌂 𑌵𑌚𑌃 ।

𑌭𑌿𑌯𑌾 𑌤𑌦𑌾 - out of fright , then; 𑌕𑌿𑌂𑌚𑌿𑌤𑍍-𑌅𑌜𑌾𑌨𑌤𑌾𑌮𑍍- - anything those who did not know (to them); 𑌇𑌦𑌂 𑌕𑍁𑌮𑌾𑌰𑌕𑌾𑌣𑌾𑌮𑍍- - the children's; 𑌅𑌤𑌿-𑌦𑍁𑌰𑍍𑌘𑌟𑌂 𑌵𑌚𑌃 - (this was) a very improbable statement; 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌭𑌾𑌵-𑌅𑌵𑌿𑌦𑍁𑌰𑍈𑌃- - Thy prowess' those not knowing; 𑌇𑌤𑌿-𑌈𑌰𑌿𑌤𑌂 𑌮𑌨𑌾𑌕𑍍-𑌇𑌵- - this statement, a little bit; 𑌅𑌶𑌂𑌕𑍍𑌯𑌤 𑌦𑍃𑌷𑍍𑌟-𑌪𑍂𑌤𑌨𑍈𑌃 - was feared (to be true), who had witnessed (the incident of) Pootanaa;

Then to the people who knew nothing of Thy prowess, the words of the frightened children were entirely baseless. But to those who knew of even a bit of Thy prowess and had witnessed the incident of Pootanaa, could not reject their statement altogether.

Translation
Pink like tender leaves, these legs, have they been hurt? These hands, charming like the lotuses, have they been injured?' Thus with overflowing sympathy and moved with such concern, the women folk stroked Thy body gently.

Translation
O Yashoda! Give me my son. By the Lord's showers of mercy today my son was saved!' Thus saying and collecting Thee in his arms, Thy father embraced Thee again and again, whose body was full of horripilation.

𑌅𑌨𑌃-𑌨𑌿𑌲𑍀𑌨𑌃 - as a cart, disguised; 𑌕𑌿𑌲 𑌹𑌂𑌤𑍁𑌮𑍍-𑌆𑌗𑌤𑌃 - indeed, to kill, had come; 𑌸𑍁𑌰𑌾𑌰𑌿𑌃-𑌏𑌵𑌂 - the Asura, was thus; 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑌾 𑌵𑌿𑌹𑌿𑌂𑌸𑌿𑌤𑌃 - by Thee was killed; 𑌰𑌜𑌃-𑌅𑌪𑌿 𑌨𑌃 𑌦𑍃𑌷𑍍𑌟𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌮𑍁𑌷𑍍𑌯 - even a speck of him (of Rajo Guna) was not seen; 𑌤𑌤𑍍-𑌕𑌥𑌂 𑌸 - how can it be that he; 𑌶𑍁𑌦𑍍𑌧-𑌸𑌤𑍍𑌵𑍇 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌯𑌿 - who are pure Sattva, in Thee; 𑌲𑍀𑌨𑌵𑌾𑌨𑍍 𑌧𑍍𑌰𑍁𑌵𑌮𑍍 - merged certainly;

Translation
The Asura who had come to kill Thee, disguised as a cart, was destroyed by Thee. But even a trace of his body or evil nature (Rajas) was not seen. How can that be? Certainly, he became pure (by coming in contact with Thee) and merged in Thy pure Sattvic Self.

𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌪𑍂𑌜𑌿𑌤𑍈𑌃-𑌤𑌤𑍍𑌰 - well honoured there; 𑌤𑌤𑌃 𑌦𑍍𑌵𑌿𑌜𑌾𑌤𑌿𑌭𑌿𑌃- - then by the Braahamins; 𑌵𑌿𑌶𑍇𑌷𑌤𑌃 - specially; 𑌲𑌂𑌭𑌿𑌤-𑌮𑌂𑌗𑌲-𑌆𑌶𑌿𑌷𑌃 - conferred with auspicious blessings; 𑌵𑍍𑌰𑌜𑌂 - Gokul; 𑌨𑌿𑌜𑍈𑌃-𑌬𑌾𑌲𑍍𑌯-𑌰𑌸𑍈𑌃- - with Thy childish sweet ways; 𑌵𑌿𑌮𑍋𑌹𑌯𑌨𑍍 - captivating (delighting); 𑌮𑌰𑍁𑌤𑍍𑌪𑍁𑌰𑌾𑌧𑍀𑌶 - O Lord of Guruvaayur!; 𑌰𑍁𑌜𑌾𑌂 𑌜𑌹𑍀𑌹𑌿 𑌮𑍇 - suffering, sheer away, mine;

Translation
The Braahmins who were invited and were well honoured specially conferred their auspicious blessings on Thee. With Thy captivating childish sweet ways, Thou delighted the whole of Vraja. O Lord of Guruvaayur! May Thou sheer away my sufferings.
