𑌪𑌠𑌂𑌤𑌃 - repeating; 𑌨𑌾𑌮𑌾𑌨𑌿 - (Thy) names; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌮𑌦𑌭𑌰 𑌸𑌿𑌂𑌧𑍌 - in the ocean of Bliss; 𑌨𑌿𑌪𑌤𑌿𑌤𑌾𑌃 - submerged; 𑌸𑍍𑌮𑌰𑌂𑌤𑌃 - meditating on; 𑌰𑍂𑌪𑌂 𑌤𑍇 - Thy form; 𑌵𑌰𑌦 - O Bestower of boons!; 𑌕𑌥𑌯𑌂𑌤𑌃 - narrating (to one another); 𑌗𑍁𑌣𑌕𑌥𑌾𑌃 - (Thy) deeds and excellences; 𑌚𑌰𑌂𑌤𑌃 - moving about freely; 𑌯𑍇 𑌭𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌾𑌃 - those devotees (who); 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌯𑌿 𑌖𑌲𑍁 𑌰𑌮𑌂𑌤𑍇 𑌪𑌰𑌂 - in Thee, indeed, immersed in the Supreme Bliss; 𑌅𑌮𑍂𑌨𑍍 𑌅𑌹𑌂 - such (devotees) I; 𑌧𑌨𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌨𑍍 𑌮𑌨𑍍𑌯𑍇 - consider to be really blessed; 𑌸𑌮𑌧𑌿𑌗𑌤-𑌸𑌰𑍍𑌵-𑌅𑌭𑌿𑌲𑌷𑌿𑌤𑌾𑌨𑍍 - (they who) have attained fulfilment of all desires (i.e. who have no other desire other than the Lord);

Translation
O Bestower of Boons! I consider those devotees of Thine most fortunate, who always chant Thy sacred names, and so revel in the ocean of Bliss. Contemplating on Thy divine form they are engaged in narrating Thy divine stories. Moving about freely, they are immersed in the joy of Thy thoughts. They, indeed, have fulfilled all their desires in life.

Meaning
𑌗𑌦 𑌕𑍍𑌲𑌿𑌷𑍍𑌟𑌂 - by diseases tormented; 𑌕𑌷𑍍𑌟𑌂 - what a pity; 𑌤𑌵 𑌚𑌰𑌣 - Thy feet; 𑌸𑍇𑌵𑌾-𑌰𑌸-𑌭𑌰𑍇 𑌅𑌪𑌿 - even for the intense joy of serving; 𑌅𑌨𑌾𑌸𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌂 𑌚𑌿𑌤𑍍𑌤𑌂 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑌿 - my mind does not feel interested; 𑌬𑌤 - alas; 𑌵𑌿𑌷𑍍𑌣𑍋 - O All-pervading Being!; 𑌕𑍁𑌰𑍁 𑌦𑌯𑌾𑌂 - be merciful (to me); 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌪𑌾𑌦-𑌅𑌂𑌭𑍋𑌜-𑌸𑍍𑌮𑌰𑌣-𑌰𑌸𑌿𑌕𑌃 - (I) becoming immersed in worshipping Thy lotus feet; 𑌨𑌾𑌮-𑌨𑌿𑌵𑌹𑌾𑌨𑍍-𑌅𑌹𑌂 𑌗𑌾𑌯𑌂 𑌗𑌾𑌯𑌂 - I will keep singing Thy countless names; 𑌕𑍁𑌹𑌚𑌨 𑌵𑌿𑌵𑌤𑍍𑌸𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌮𑌿 𑌵𑌿𑌜𑌨𑍇 - in some secluded place, (I) will dwell;

Translation
O Lord Vishnu! tormented by this painful disease, what a pity, my mind is not inclined to revel in the joy of worshipping at Thy lotus feet. Be merciful to me, so that I may retire to a secluded beautiful place and enjoy the bliss of meditating on Thy lotus feet immersed in chanting Thy innumerable names.

𑌕𑍃𑌪𑌾 𑌤𑍇 𑌜𑌾𑌤𑌾 𑌚𑍇𑌤𑍍- - if Thy grace is achieved; 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌇𑌵 𑌨 𑌹𑌿 𑌲𑌭𑍍𑌯𑌂 - what is there that cannot be achieved?; 𑌤𑌨𑍁𑌭𑍃𑌤𑌾𑌂 - by all embodied beings; 𑌮𑌦𑍀𑌯 𑌕𑍍𑌲𑍇𑌶-𑌔𑌘-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌶𑌮𑌨-𑌦𑌶𑌾 - the task of eradicating my afflictions; 𑌨𑌾𑌮 𑌕𑌿𑌯𑌤𑍀 - how insignificant it is; 𑌨 𑌕𑍇 𑌕𑍇 𑌲𑍋𑌕𑍇-𑌅𑌸𑍍𑌮𑌿𑌨𑍍- - are there not several (devotees) in this world; 𑌅𑌨𑌿𑌶𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌯𑌿 𑌶𑍋𑌕-𑌅𑌭𑌿𑌰𑌹𑌿𑌤𑌾𑌃 - always, O Lord, who are free of sorrows; 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍 𑌭𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌾𑌃 - Thy devotees; 𑌮𑍁𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌾𑌃 - who are liberated; 𑌸𑍁𑌖-𑌗𑌤𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌸𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌾 - have pure bliss and are unattached; 𑌵𑌿𑌦𑌧𑌤𑍇 - and also moving about freely;

Translation
O Lord! if Thy grace is present, is there anything in this world which man cannot attain? The curing of my disease is just a very insignificant matter for Thee. There are many devotees of Thine, in this world, who having been liberated from sufferings and are moving about freely without any attachment.

Meaning
𑌮𑍁𑌨𑌿 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑍌𑌢𑌾 - great sages; 𑌰𑍂𑌢𑌾𑌃 𑌜𑌗𑌤𑌿 𑌖𑌲𑍁 - (who)are well known in the world, indeed; 𑌗𑍂𑌢𑌾𑌤𑍍𑌮𑌗𑌤𑌯𑌃 - move about freely unnoticed; 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌪𑌾𑌦-𑌅𑌂𑌭𑍋𑌜-𑌸𑍍𑌮𑌰𑌣𑌵𑌿𑌰𑍁𑌜𑌃 - by constant contemplation of Thy lotus feet have become free from all sorrows; 𑌨𑌾𑌰𑌦-𑌮𑍁𑌖𑌾𑌃 - Naarada leading; 𑌚𑌰𑌂𑌤𑌿-𑌈𑌶 𑌸𑍍𑌵𑍈𑌰𑌂 - move about, O Lord, at will; 𑌸𑌤𑌤-𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌨𑌿𑌰𑍍𑌭𑌾𑌤- - being ever immersed; 𑌪𑌰𑌚𑌿𑌤𑍍-𑌆𑌨𑌂𑌦𑍍-𑌅𑌦𑍍𑌵𑍈𑌤-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌸𑌰-𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌮𑌗𑍍𑌨𑌾𑌃 - in the unabating and indivisible flow of Bliss-Consciousness; 𑌕𑌿𑌂 𑌅𑌪𑌰𑌮𑍍 - what more than this (is desirable in life?);

Translation
O Lord! Great sages like Naarada move about freely at will without being noticed. They are free of all sorrows because of their constant contemplation on Thy lotus feet. They have attained the eternal knowledge and are always immersed in Thy non-dual Self,which is of the nature of supreme Bliss-Consciousness. What more can one desire to attain in life?

𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍 𑌭𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌿𑌃 - devotion to Thee; 𑌸𑍍𑌫𑍀𑌤𑌾 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍁 - may it reach perfection; 𑌮𑌮 - my (devotion to Thee); 𑌸 𑌏𑌵 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌶𑌮𑌯𑍇𑌤𑍍 - that alone will eradicate; 𑌅𑌶𑍇𑌷-𑌕𑍍𑌲𑍇𑌶-𑌔𑌘𑌂 - endless sorrows and sufferings; 𑌨 𑌖𑌲𑍁 𑌹𑍃𑌦𑌿 - not, indeed, in my heart; 𑌸𑌂𑌦𑍇𑌹 𑌕𑌣𑌿𑌕𑌾 - is there the slightest doubt; 𑌨 𑌚𑍇𑌤𑍍 - if it were not so; 𑌵𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌸𑌸𑍍𑌯-𑌉𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌿 - the words of Sage Vyaasa; 𑌤𑌵 𑌚 𑌵𑌚𑌨𑌂 - Thy own words; 𑌨𑍈𑌗𑌮-𑌵𑌚𑌃 - (and) the statements of the Vedas; 𑌭𑌵𑍇𑌤𑍍-𑌮𑌿𑌥𑍍𑌯𑌾 - would become untrue; 𑌰𑌥𑍍𑌯𑌾-𑌪𑍁𑌰𑍁𑌷-𑌵𑌚𑌨-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌯𑌮𑍍 - like the street urchins' casual utterings; 𑌅𑌖𑌿𑌲𑌮𑍍 - all of them;

Translation
O Lord! May my devotion to Thee grow intense, so that all my sufferings may automatically subside. I do not have the slightest doubt in my heart that devotion to Thee will bear this fruit. For if it were not so, the words of sage Vyaasa, Thy own words and the declarations of the Vedaas would prove to be untrue, like the casual mutterings of street urchins.

Meaning
𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌭𑌕𑍍𑌤𑌿𑌃 - 𑌤𑌾𑌵𑌤𑍍 - devotion to Thee, indeed; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌮𑍁𑌖-𑌮𑌧𑍁𑌰𑌾 - in the beginning itself is sweet; 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌗𑍁𑌣-𑌰𑌸𑌾𑌤𑍍 - because of Thy excellent attributes; 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌪𑌿-𑌆𑌰𑍂𑌢𑌾 𑌚𑍇𑌤𑍍- - even with a little progress; 𑌅𑌖𑌿𑌲-𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌤𑌾𑌪-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌶𑌮𑌨𑍀 - it destroys all sorrows completely; 𑌪𑍁𑌨𑌃-𑌚-𑌅𑌂𑌤𑍇 - and besides, at the end also; 𑌸𑍍𑌵-𑌅𑌂𑌤𑍇 - in the mind; 𑌵𑌿𑌮𑌲-𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌬𑍋𑌧-𑌉𑌦𑌯-𑌮𑌿𑌲𑌤𑍍 - arising from the pure knowledge of identity; 𑌮𑌹𑌾-𑌆𑌨𑌂𑌦-𑌅𑌦𑍍𑌵𑍈𑌤𑌂 - (with Brahman),the non-dual supreme bliss; 𑌦𑌿𑌶𑌤𑌿 - (It i.e. devotion) confers; 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌤𑌃 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌰𑍍𑌥𑍍𑌯𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌪𑌰𑌮𑍍 - other than this what is there to seek;

Translation
O Lord! devotion to Thee is sweet right from the beginning because of Thy glorious attributes. When such devotion becomes intense, it removes all sorrows of the devotee. At the final stage of devotion, the devotee experiences pure absolute Bliss coupled with knowledge of the Self. What more is there for one to seek?

𑌵𑌿𑌧𑍂𑌯 𑌕𑍍𑌲𑍇𑌶𑌾𑌨𑍍-𑌮𑍇 - removing all my sufferings; 𑌕𑍁𑌰𑍁 - (please) conduct in such manner (that); 𑌚𑌰𑌣-𑌯𑍁𑌗𑍍𑌮𑌮𑍍 - (my) pair of feet; 𑌧𑍃𑌤-𑌰𑌸𑌮𑍍 - (may) be delighted; 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌕𑍍𑌷𑍇𑌤𑍍𑌰-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌪𑍍𑌤𑍌 - in reaching Thy temple; 𑌕𑌰𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌪𑌿 𑌚 - and my hands; 𑌤𑍇 𑌪𑍂𑌜𑌨-𑌵𑌿𑌧𑍌 - in worshipping Thee with rituals; 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌮𑍂𑌰𑍍𑌤𑌿-𑌆𑌲𑍋𑌕𑍇 - thy(auspicious) form, in seeing; 𑌨𑌯𑌨𑌮𑍍- - (my) eyes; 𑌅𑌥 𑌤𑍇 𑌪𑌾𑌦𑌤𑍁𑌲𑌸𑍀-𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌘𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌣𑍇 - then, at Thy feet the offered tulsi fragrance, in smelling; 𑌘𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌣𑌮𑍍 - (my) nose; 𑌶𑍍𑌰𑌵𑌣𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌪𑌿 - and also my ears; 𑌤𑍇 𑌚𑌾𑌰𑍁-𑌚𑌰𑌿𑌤𑍇 - (in hearing) Thy charming deeds and excellences;

O Lord! Be graceful to remove all my afflictions so that my two feet will take delight in reaching Thy temple, my hands in performing worship to Thee,my eyes in seeing Thy enchanting form, my nose in enjoying the fragrance of the Tulsi leaves offered at Thy feet and my ears in hearing the stories of Thy glories and great deeds.

Meaning
𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌭𑍂𑌤-𑌆𑌧𑌿-𑌵𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌧𑌿-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌸𑌭-𑌚𑌲𑌿𑌤𑍇 - troubled by the incessant mental and physical sufferings; 𑌮𑌾𑌮𑌕-𑌹𑍃𑌦𑌿 - in my mind; 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌦𑍀𑌯𑌂 𑌤𑌤𑍍-𑌰𑍂𑌪𑌂 𑌪𑌰𑌮-𑌸𑍁𑌖-𑌚𑌿𑌤𑍍-𑌰𑍂𑌪𑌮𑍍- - Thy that form which is of the nature of Supreme Bliss Consciousness; 𑌉𑌦𑌿𑌯𑌾𑌤𑍍 - may it manifest itself; 𑌉𑌦𑌂𑌚𑍍𑌤-𑌰𑍋𑌮𑌾𑌂𑌚𑌃 - (with) exciting horripilation; 𑌗𑌲𑌿𑌤-𑌬𑌹𑍁-𑌹𑌰𑍍𑌷-𑌅𑌶𑍍𑌰𑍁-𑌨𑌿𑌵𑌹𑌃 - with tears of joy (of ecstasy) flowing profusely; 𑌯𑌥𑌾 𑌵𑌿𑌸𑍍𑌮𑌰𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌸𑌂 - so that I may forget completely (without effort); 𑌦𑍁𑌰𑍁𑌪𑌶𑌮-𑌪𑍀𑌡𑌾-𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌭𑌵𑌾𑌨𑍍 - all (my) endless woes caused by incurable ailments;

Translation
O Lord! In my mind, which is now very agitated due to mental and physical afflictions, may Thy beautiful form manifest, which is of the nature of Knowledge-Bliss absolute. This will excite me with supreme devotion causing horripilation all over the body and tears flowing in ecstasy and in such a thrill, my endless sorrows will melt into insignificance.

𑌮𑌰𑍁𑌤𑍍-𑌗𑍇𑌹-𑌅𑌧𑍀𑌶 - O Lord of Guruvayur; 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌯𑌿 𑌖𑌲𑍁 𑌪𑌰𑌾𑌂𑌚𑌃-𑌅𑌪𑌿 𑌸𑍁𑌖𑌿𑌨𑌃 - in Thee, even those who are indifferent are (living) happily; 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌸𑍍𑌨𑍇𑌹𑍀 𑌸𑌃-𑌅𑌹𑌂 - (whereas) a devotee of Thine like me; 𑌸𑍁𑌬𑌹𑍁 𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌤𑌪𑍍𑌯𑍇 𑌚 - (am) suffering too much; 𑌕𑌿𑌮-𑌇𑌦𑌮𑍍 - what is this! (how come); 𑌅𑌕𑍀𑌰𑍍𑌤𑌿𑌃-𑌤𑍇 𑌮𑌾 𑌭𑍂𑌤𑍍 - let no disrepute come to Thee (because of this anomaly); 𑌵𑌰𑌦 - O Bestower of boons!; 𑌗𑌦𑌭𑌾𑌰𑌂 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌶𑌮𑌯𑌨𑍍 - eradicate (my) afflictions; 𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌭𑌕𑍍𑌤-𑌉𑌤𑍍𑌤𑌂𑌸𑌂 - (make me) the best of Thy devotees; 𑌝𑌟𑌿𑌤𑌿 𑌕𑍁𑌰𑍁 𑌮𑌾𑌂 - quickly make me; 𑌕𑌂𑌸𑌦𑌮𑌨 - O Slayer of Kamsa!;

Translation
O Lord of Guruvaayur! I find that even those who are indifferent to Thee are leading a happy life. O Bestower of boons! Even though I am an ardent devotee of Thine, I am undergoing various sufferings. Why is this so? O Lord! Will this not bring disrepute to Thee? Hence, O slayer of Kamsa! Kindly eradicate my diseases and soon make me one of your foremost devotees.

𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌉𑌕𑍍𑌤𑍈𑌃 - 𑌭𑍂𑌯𑍋𑌭𑌿𑌃- - what is the use of mere talking again and again; 𑌤𑌵 𑌹𑌿 𑌕𑌰𑍁𑌣𑌾 - Thy compassion, indeed; 𑌯𑌾𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌉𑌦𑌿𑌯𑌾𑌤𑍍- - till (it) arises (descends); 𑌅𑌹𑌂 𑌤𑌾𑌵𑌤𑍍- - till then I; 𑌦𑍇𑌵 - O Lord!; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌹𑌿𑌤-𑌵𑌿𑌵𑌿𑌧-𑌆𑌰𑍍𑌤-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌲𑌪𑌿𑌤𑌃 - (I will be) giving up lamentations of all kinds; 𑌪𑍁𑌰𑌃 𑌕𑍍𑌲𑍃𑌪𑍍𑌤𑍇 𑌪𑌾𑌦𑍇 - At (Thy) feet which are in front of me; 𑌵𑌰𑌦 𑌤𑌵 - O Bestower of Boons! Translation
O Lord! What is the use of my mere prattling? O Bestower of boons! I have resolved that till Thy Grace descends on me, giving up all my lamentations, I shall do prostration at Thy holy feet which are in front of me, sing Thy glories and do service to Thee as best as I can. Thus worship Thee.
